ICRISAT, the Institute of Rural Economy of Mali (IER), and the Kita agricultural sector collaborated to host a Smart Food training workshop in Kita from October 9th to October 14th, 2023, within the framework of the EU-APSAN-Mali project. This workshop serves as a “train the trainer” program for the Smart Food initiative, aimed at promoting a wholesome and well-rounded diet. The primary objective of this workshop is to empower participants with the skills and knowledge needed for the efficient processing of local products, contributing to the fight against food insecurity.
